I'm New... what do I do?
First I suggest you read all of the rules... and then you create a character.
Does my character need to be approved?
Yes and please note that you can have no more than three and your character profile must follow the guidlines given to you.
I've created my character, now what?
Now you can start RPing. There are many places for you to RP. You can choose to start your own thread, or reply to someone elses.
Can my character die? Will I loose my account?
Your character cannot be killed by another without your permission. The reverse also holds, this is a part of the "no godmodeing" rule. If you wish to die for plot purposes please post so in the Plot Discussion Board, and I'm sure someone would be able to help you out. And, no, you will not loose your account unless you are banned for repeated rule-breaking.
Can I be in multiple threads?
Yes, join as many as you are comfortable with and can keep active, for those new to RPing, we recommend one or two to start off with.
Who are the Administrators?
Check the moderating team from time to time.
What's my warning level?
A warning level is a bar under your user stats that only you and the staff of the board can see. It indicates how many times you've been warned for breaking any of the general RPG guidelines/rules. After 5 strikes, your account will be suspended until further notice.
How are Sovereign and mods chosen?
Sovereign and mods are chosen by me. Check the application board for the requirements.
What is a Sovereign?
Digitally speaking the Soveriegn are the four Gaurdians of the Digital World. You CANNOT have these as your Digimon Partner. Forum wise they are Global mods that watch over all the areas.
How do I get an avatar?
Take an image that you have selected and save it on your pc. From there, submitt it to a photobucket account (create one if you don't have one). Next, go to "Profle", "Modify Profile" and paste the URL into the blank space provided. After clicking on "Update", your new image should appear. Avatars can be no larger than 100x100 pixels. Dont forget to type in your avatars height and width or it will be reset to a standard 65x65 pixels.

1. What should I do if I want to create a new digimon, who should I talk to?
2. If something major has happened in my character's past (S/he has forgoten that s/he is human, denies that s/he's human because of something that happened) do I have to get it approved BEFORE i create the character?
3. If I want to be someone bent to destroy the digital/real world must I get it approved?
4. Are there dark sides of all the digimon? (I have seen a DarkWarGraymon, and a few others)

Well, as for a history like that, you wouldn't need to approve it, as it makes the character who they are and there isn't really any over all drama to it.
As for a crazed person bent on destroying the world, go for it  It would need to be approved by myself since we can't have a hundred of them running around but since you are the first then you are most welcome.
As for your own Digimon, that is perfectly acceptable. Just join the forum and you can create a profile for it in the character creation threads. Don't forget to spread the word to all your friends 
And finally, no, not all Digimon have virus forms but a lot of them do. For instance, there are alternate forms of all the Tamers' Digimon. There are alot of them out there, you just need to look for them.

Ah, sorry about that. Yes, you automatically get the Digimon partner. But in order to play a canon character you must post here first. You need to ask permission for them.

I've searched through every digimon I can find, I want an obscure digimon for my partner. Am I able to create my own?

You are more than welcome to create a Digimon, so long as you don't God-mode it. No rookies that can defeat ultimates or any such nonsense. I have only ever come across one digimon that has an attack powerful enough to defeat higher levels than itself.
If you want to creat one then put as much detail into it as you can so that we can get a good idea what it's like. Pictures would be a great help if at all possible.

so all of the tamers and legendary heroes and EVERYONE from every season are here, is this like an alternate dimension or something? Is this assuming that the seasons are much closer together than they are canon-ly?

Well, there is no connection to the different series so there is no way of telling how close (time wise) they are. Since I figured people would want to RP all the canon characters I put them all in and placed us in a Digital world based of the Digimon World DS game. That way we can have everyone here.

Alright. I may have a few.
1- What are the differences between the types of Signatures. Ex: House, Year, ect.
2- Do we have to post all of our digimon's forms, or can our character discover them as the role play progresses?
3- If we were to come up with a plot idea, where would we submit it to be critiqued?
4- Why is the sky blue?
Well, that's all I've got. Oh, and ignore the last one. Sorry, I'm random, and I couldn't help myself.

Ok, now for the answers!
1. I haven't gotten the chance to change the colours yet so there's no difference yet, but that'll come soon, I swear >_<
2. It's actually preferable that your character discovers the digivolutions so no worries there
3. If you have a plot idea then PM it to me and I'll take a look at it and discuss it with the mods.
4. The sky is blue because it reflects the blue of the ocean...or is it the other way around? One of the two
